Welcome to Big Mother's Artists in Solidarity Auction - Artist Call - Ends 8/8/25!
Auction is from 8/23/25 to 9/6/25.
All proceeds after expenses will be disbursed as immediate need grants and legal funding for households directly affected by immigration involvement. Family's need will be vetted with local human rights organizations directly in contact with the families, acting as a protective financial intermediary to shield the family from further harm. We do not collect funds for illegal activities and funds are intended to help families deal with the hardship of having a loved one detained: basic needs and legal services.

This year we will be using secure products for our operations wherever possible. We're learning our new platforms too. Please be patient and gentle with us, we are not IT professionals. If you are from a vulnerable demographic and wish to shield your identity while participating in this auction, email us so we can coordinate how your items will appear in the auction safely. If you feel unsafe filling out a form email us at thebigmother@pm.me. Do not DM us on socials about it.
Entries in this form will be copied and pasted directly into the auction website - be mindful of punctuation/capitalization, etc. We do not have staffing to make corrections once the auction goes live.
Images of artwork will be emailed to Big Mother according to the instructions on the form. Please follow the instructions to avoid confusion on our end, it’s easy. You just fill out the details for an item in the form, then email us the image. If you email us images without the corresponding form, we will not accept them.
Images of 2D items should be straight-on and not at an angle. Use good lighting, cropped to show the item only.
Images of 3D items should be of the artwork only and not include people (unless a model wearing a clothing item) or other objects. If it is a functional item please do not stage it with other items. Use a plain background with good contrast.
Images to represent services should include text only related to the submission to the auction. Your professional headshot will not work. A screenshot from your website or a logo is fine. We'll keep promoting your business if you want!
Images will be cropped to fit promotional materials and auction website. Due to the volume of entries, we are unable to accommodate requests for display changes on personalized materials. If you are interested in creating your own rad flyers for Big Mother, contact us first. We collab
This auction is completely online. You will not ship your artwork unless it sells - then you will ship it directly to the buyer. Big Mother will reimburse you for shipping costs. You can choose to cover the shipping which will add funds to our grants.
Starting bids will be set at 25% of the full value. Please give an accurate fair market value of your items - what you would sell it for in person. Inflating the value of your item will not help raise funds. If you want a lower starting bid, let us know.
